Aloha, Namaskar and Hello!
Welcome to my work on climate change issues: research and teaching through videos, writings & publications. I work at the global level, following the climate change negotiations under the United Nations; and at the regional and state level, focusing on the island state of Hawai’i.
I work in the following three capacities on climate change issues:
- As a Visiting Scholar at the East-West Center, Honolulu, HI
- As a Research and Independent Non-Governmental Observer (RINGO) at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change meetings (in Paris 2015, Lima 2014, Bonn 2015, Marrakech 2016)
- As an Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis
This work is done in conjunction with my affiliations with Washington University in St. Louis and the East-West Center in Honolulu, but the views expressed here are my own. I thank these institutions for their support. I also acknowledge the support of Global Environment and Energy in the 21st Century’s for my attendance at COP22 in Marrakech, November 2016.
