About

Aloha, Namaskar and Hello!

FullSizeRender-2Welcome to my work on climate change issues: research and teaching through videos, writings & publications. I work at the global level, following the climate change negotiations under the United Nations; and at the regional and state level, focusing on the island state of Hawai’i.

I work in the following three capacities on climate change issues:

  1. As a Visiting Scholar at the East-West Center, Honolulu, HI
  2. As a Research and Independent Non-Governmental Observer (RINGO) at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change meetings (in Paris 2015, Lima 2014, Bonn 2015, Marrakech 2016)
  3. As an Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis

This work is done in conjunction with my affiliations with Washington University in St. Louis and the East-West Center in Honolulu, but the views expressed here are my own. I thank these institutions for their support. I also acknowledge the support of Global Environment and Energy in the 21st Century’s for my attendance at COP22 in Marrakech, November 2016.
